SMS is an acronym for “Short Message Service”, often called text messaging, and is a means of sending short messages to and from mobile phones.
MMS is an acronym for “Multimedia Messaging Services” and is a standard for telephony messaging systems that allow sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, video, audio, rich text).
SMS should work, as long as you have a mobile device that’s able to do text messaging. Please make sure you have text messaging enabled on your service plan. If your not sure if you have this feature please check with your mobile provider.
What kind of phone do I need to send SMS or text messages? Almost all new mobile phones allow you to send and receive SMS or text messages. Text messaging plans will be presented to you when you make your phone purchase.
For the mobile user (Consumer) it is 100% free. Note: If your cell phone provider charges for text messaging, they may charge you $.05-$.10 per text message (that’s what “standard rates apply” means) unless you have an unlimited plan. But ENOWIT doesn’t charge any service fee for your text messages.
How does the eNowIt mobile network work? The very first time you opt-in to any of eNowIt’s clients you will receive an alert from eNowIt - “Thks for opting-in to eNowIt mobile alerts. Manage your subscriptions @ enowit.com. Reply STOP to end last campaign or Help. StdMsgChrgsApply”. To manage all your subscriptions and to search for more you can login to your free eNowIt mobile user account. This will give you maximum control over your entire account. This can be managed from a computer as well as a mobile enabled mobile phone.
Where can I use eNowIt services? Anywhere! eNowIt services can be used anywhere to market just about any product or service or push out information. If eNowIt services aren’t being used by your favorite restaurants/realtors/venues/stores ask them to look into signing up, as it will drastically improve their relationships with their consumers.
Do I need Internet access on my phone to use eNowIt? No. You can use eNowIt with any mobile phone that can send a text message (almost any cell phone will work). If you do have a mobile internet plan with access to the Internet you will be able to view special mobile web pages, with photos as well as log into your eNowIt.com account.
How do I join eNowIt if I'm a mobile user? Set up your free online eNowIt account at eNowIt.com. If you have subscribed to an eNowIt client before just enter your cell number and we will text you a special one-time registration code. Enter this code on the screen that shows up after you submit your cell number to link your mobile phone to your account. If you are completely new to eNowIt select New Mobile User and complete the form. We will send you a text message for you to reply back to confirm your account. You are now logged in to your unique dashboard allowing you to manage all your current opt-in subscriptions and search for others right from your computer.
Is my phone number given out after I use eNowIt? No, your mobile phone number is kept private from advertisers.
You cannot spam mobile phones with eNowIt. The system is setup to not share your mobile phone number with any of eNowIt’s advertising clients.
eNowIt will never use a mobile user’s cell numbers for any other purpose than to deliver the agreed content - Privacy Policy.
Can I view a mobile web page on my phone? If you have a phone that is web enabled and you have purchased a data plan then you will be able to view mobile phone web pages or WAP pages. Verizon and US Cellular do not support clickable links to mobile WAP enabled pages.
I opted out of a campaign but I’m still getting text messages from that business – why? You may be opted in to more then one campaign on the eNowIt mobile network. Simply Reply STOP after you receive an alert to STOP alerts for that campaign. Replay STOP ALL to opt out of the entire eNowIt Mobile Network. You can login into your eNowIt.com account and under your list of opt in networks select the delete button to delete the campaign and you will be instantly opted out.
Will eNowIt work with my service provider? eNowIt supports all major U.S. carriers. The following is a list of carriers eNowIt currently supports.
I have a prepaid plan. Can I use eNowIt? eNowIt works with AT&T, Verizon, Alltel, Boost ,and Virgin Mobile prepaid phones.
Are eNowIt keywords case-sensitive? No. “Food” is the same as “FOOD”.
How do I manage existing alerts on my phone? After you receive an alert on your phone, you can stop it by sending a text message to 366948(eNowIt) with the word STOP. We will send you a text message confirmation that you’ve unsubscribed. You can also visit www.eNowIt.com/mobile and login into your mobile account and manage everything from there.
How do I get help on eNowIt from my cell phone? Simply text the word HELP to the number 366948(eNowIt) You can use our mobile web site located at enowit.com/mobile
How long does it take to get a response back from an eNowIt client campaign?Most of the time you should receive a text message back from us within seconds of sending your request. Sometimes there is latency in the wireless providers’ networks, which might cause your response to be delayed.
Don’t use signatures. Many phones have the capability of attaching a signature to every outgoing text message. If this isn’t turned off it will send along with the keyword and our system won’t know what campaign your interested in and you will not get any response back.
How do I stop receiving alerts? If you want to stop an alert you simply reply with the word STOP to our shortcode 366948 after you receive the alert you wish to stop. If you want to stop all your alerts from your phone, send a text message or reply to the last message sent from our shortcode 366948 with the words STOP ALL. If you want to stop an alert on the web, log on to your mobile user account at eNowIt.com and delete the alert you wish to stop.
I tried stopping my alerts, but I’m still receiving messages. HELP? First off: Send a text message to 366948(eNowIt) with the words STOP ALL. Log into your account at eNowIt.com and delete the alerts associated with your phone number. If you have tried these and you’re still receiving messages – contact us at support@enowit.com.

How do I report inappropriate or fraudulent activity? If you have received an inappropriate text message or picture message please contact us via email at support@enowit.com. Please provide your cell number and the time the message was sent. Also include message details and what you consider inappropriate. We will provide an explanation within 3 business days.
